Société Générale Côte d’Ivoire now has an agency specifically dedicated to supporting small and medium-sized companies. It officially opened its « Maison de la PME » on Thursday, July 11, 2019 in the presence of the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Promotion of SMEs, Mr. Souleymane Diarrassouba. In fact, to support SMEs that are at the heart of African economies, Société Générale has initiated the creation of « Maisons de la PME » in each of its subsidiaries. And after Senegal and Burkina, it is the turn of the Ivory Coast to open its agency exclusively dedicated to SMEs. This project is part of the Societe Generale Group strategy presented in November 2018 called « Grow with Africa ». Convinced that the development of Africa is one of the collective challenges Societe Generale can contribute, the bank made the decision to put its expertise and innovation dynamics at the service of the positive transformations of the continent. Société Générale Côte d’Ivoire’s Maison de la PME is located on boulevard Valery-Giscard in Abidjan.

According to the Managing Director of Société Générale Côte d’Ivoire, Mr. Aymeric Villebrun. The Maison de la PME’s main objective is to foster the emergence of a network of high-performance Ivorian SMEs by providing structured products and services appropriate to their profiles and needs. « We intend to continue to play a full role in facilitating business development and growth, » he said. This bank will advise, finance and support its SME clients through adapted financial products and services, financing solutions at all stages of the business life cycle and business management training. . ». To succeed in this challenge, Societe Generale Cote d’Ivoire brings together in a single space local and international actors willing to work together to remove the main obstacles to the creation and development of companies. These structures will provide accounting, technical or legal expertise; advice, training, monitoring and awareness of environmental and social issues.
