Casablanca-based Hamzi Law Firm (HLF) has joined the DS lawyers group. It will henceforth take the name DS HLF.
In a statement released Monday, November 15, the French cabinet said this alliance will allow it to strengthen its presence on the African continent and open up to the Middle East.
A leading multidisciplinary Moroccan firm, founded in 1999, providing advice as well as litigation, HLF is led by Zineb Hamzi, founding partner and co-chaired with Patrice Mouchon, lawyer at the Paris Bar. The firm operates in Morocco, West Africa and the Middle East.
“This alliance will allow us to pool our skills and our networks, in order to provide our clients with quality international support, for optimal legal security for their development. We want to make Cabinet DS HLF in Casablanca a strong link in the network in Africa and the Middle East, for European, Asian and Anglo-Saxon clients, ”said Zineb Hamzi, founding partner of Hamzi Law Firm.
For Olivier Fages, president of DS Avocats, this union sealed with the Moroccan group will allow it to strengthen in the Maghreb, in Sub-Saharan Africa and in the Middle East. “It also allows us to offer our European, American and Asian customers a gateway and development that has no comparison on the African continent”.
Founded in Paris in 1972, DS Avocats is already present on the African continent through its office in Dakar (Senegal). This expansion strategy will allow its clients to benefit from an international network of 24 offices in 14 countries.
