The Commission of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) congratulated on Tuesday, November 10, President Alassane Ouattara reelected as head of Côte d’Ivoire for the 2020-2025 five-year term.

In a speech to the Nation on Monday evening, delivered a few hours after the confirmation of his victory by the Constitutional Council, President Alassane Ouattara had already set the tone by inviting the leader of the opposition, Henri Konan Bédié, to a dialogue despite his endorsement of the creation of a National Transitional Council (CNT).
