The African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Council of the Moroccan region of Fez-Meknes have adopted a draft agreement at the end of which both parties pledge to provide financial assistance and support to the holders of small projects.
According to the information, the projects will be selected according to the criteria of created job positions, their impact on the reduction of social and regional disparities, innovation, productivity and sustainability.
The areas of selection, it is said, include agriculture, handicrafts, NICTs, services and tourism, scientific research and the support of women’s cooperatives.
The aim is to build skills and create businesses and job opportunities for young people.
