The African Development Bank (AfDB) is organizing 8 at 9 February 2018 the second edition of the African Forum for Resilience, whose main theme is “Strengthening the Resilience of People at the Bottom of the Pyramid,” a statement from the institution said.
For this more than 300 people are expected in the capital of Côte d’Ivoire, including ministers, representatives of national and international organizations, civil society figures as well as academics and private sector figures, who will discuss ways to accelerate the implementation of the Bank’s five strategic priorities, High 5.
Other topics will also be on the agenda of this forum, namely the operational modalities for better assistance to communities, especially the most vulnerable, in order to strengthen their resilience.
Thus, the sharing of knowledge, the impact of exclusion, the return of experiences of interventions will be the different axes of the exchanges. The objective is to better prepare future actions.
However, the main novelty of the 2018 edition of the forum will be the exhibition of innovative and relevant solutions contributing to the implementation of theHigh 5at Community level.
For this purpose, some fifteen companies and startups will present their tested products available on the sub-regional market.
