Lagos: Francophone Africa Business Summit – FABS 2024
Scheduled to take place from February 28 to 29, 2024 at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria, the first edition of this summit under the theme “Investing in Francophone Africa: Roadmap and Opportunities” aims to open up new prospects for economic collaboration between the continent’s major Francophone and Anglophone economies, by exploiting the still largely untapped opportunities in the markets of these two regions.
The summit, which is the first of its kind on the African continent, aims to act as a catalyst by providing English-speaking businesses with a roadmap for expansion, while mutual prosperity with the rich markets of French-speaking Africa, such as Senegal, Ivory Coast, Cameroon and many others.
FABS 2024 has been designed by business law firm Epena Law, which operates in English- and French-speaking Africa, and will bring together investors, political decision-makers and entrepreneurs to discuss issues and opportunities in key sectors for Africa’s growth, such as energy, finance, telecoms and infrastructure, to name but a few. On the program: captivating panels, roundtables and exclusive networking to inspire new business dynamics on the continent.
Bringing together renowned speakers and experts from various industries, FABS 2024 aims to offer an in-depth understanding of the intricacies of investing in French-speaking Africa across a wide range of sectors. More than an event, it’s a founding step towards strengthening exchanges between French and English speakers, initiating a series of summits dedicated to regional investments and partnerships.
