The project aims to support young farmers working in the regions of Forest Guinea, Upper Guinea, Middle Guinea and Lower Guinea to enable them to develop agricultural techniques for many locally grown products such as coffee, cocoa, cotton, butter. shea or potato.

This funding also marks Bolloré Transport & Logistics Guinea’s desire to support Guinean youth through two main areas: vocational training and mastery of the logistics chain in the export of agrifood products.

“The objective of this project is both to give young farmers the skills necessary to develop their agricultural projects while participating in the constitution of a modern agribusiness network. Through this funding, 20 young people will benefit from this training and will have the opportunity to create and manage their agribusiness business. Said Aboubacar Diallo, Acting Executive Director of CECIDE.

“Young people are at the heart of Bolloré Transport & Logistics’ social and environmental responsibility policy. Our support to CECIDE will allow young farmers to develop new techniques and acquire full expertise in this area, but it will also support the entire agricultural sector in Guinea to strengthen its competitiveness. », Expressed Jean-Christophe TRANCHEPAIN, Country Director of Bolloré Transport & Logistics in Guinea.
