Casablanca: Forum International Afrique Développement 2024 (FIAD24)
The Attijariwafa bank group, under the impetus of the Al Mada Group, kicks off the 2024 edition of the Forum International Afrique Développement.
Through its Club Afrique Développement and in partnership with the pan-African fund AL MADA, the Attijariwafa bank group is organizing the International Forum Afrique Développement 2024 (FIAD24) on June 27 and 28 in Casablanca, under the theme “Ici, on investit“.
More than 2,000 business leaders and political decision-makers from 30 African and partner countries are expected to attend.
FIAD24 will feature an extensive network of structured contacts between participating operators, a high-level conference on development and investment issues in Africa, and an investment market.
With six previous editions organized since 2010 in Casablanca, FIAD has become the reference platform for the African private sector in terms of trade, investment and intra-African cooperation.
Club Afrique Développement also continued to consolidate intra-continental business corridors by organizing 37 multi-sector missions in 10 countries. Nearly 21,000 business and government leaders from 40 countries have so far taken part in the “Afrique Développement” dynamic. Over 25,500 structured business meetings have been held in key sectors such as agro-industry, infrastructure and public works, telecoms, healthcare and energy, to name but a few.
Organizer
Aimed at entrepreneurs and opinion leaders invested in the continent’s dynamics, the Africa Development Club provides personalized, long-term support to operators committed to Africa, helping them to realize strategic projects. In short, it aims to “build network opportunities together”. The Club was created by the Attijariwafa Bank Group. In addition, it carries the flag of economic operators and participants in the Africa Development Forum, in terms of recommendations to governors.
This galvanizing experience possesses fractal qualities, notably the multidisciplinary teams engaged across the Attijariwafa bank Group’s subsidiaries in the countries of presence, business centers, Private Banking and Corporate Banking “Grande Entreprise” branches in Morocco.
