The real estate boom in Africa, including the UEMOA zone, is fueled by rapid population growth, economic attractiveness to investors and the development of the middle class. However, most home-seekers need financing, and banks are offering mortgages to meet this growing demand.
Organized by FAPBEF-UEMOA, le Forum sur le financement de l’Habitat, will bring together players involved in housing finance and acquisition to discuss challenges and develop innovative solutions.
Objectives include examining the financial needs of housing, exploring suitable financing mechanisms, promoting the registration of real estate transactions, and encouraging the development of the mortgage market.
The forum format will include presentations and exchanges between participants, aimed at formulating recommendations to improve housing finance in the UEMOA region, with follow-up to assess the impact of actions taken.
