Dakar: First edition of the Life Insurance Exhibition
The Senegalese Federation of Insurance Companies (FSSA) is organizing the first edition of the Life Insurance Exhibition on May 8 and 9, 2025 at the King Fahd Palace in Dakar, under the theme:
“Life insurance at the heart of economic and social sovereignty: a lever for a resilient and inclusive Africa.”
Held under the high authority of His Excellency the Prime Minister of the Republic of Senegal, this event will bring together experts, public and regulatory authorities, academic institutions, insurers, and senior decision-makers to discuss the strategic challenges of life insurance in Africa, particularly in the CIMA region.
Main objectives:
- Promote innovation, financial education, and domestic savings;
- Foster strategic networking and partnerships;
- Strengthen sector skills through workshops and training sessions;
- Highlight life insurance as a key financial security lever;
- Propose recommendations for sustainable sector growth;
- Position Senegal as a regional leader in life insurance in West Africa.
Program Highlights:
- Day 1: Opening ceremony, exhibition launch, panels on domestic savings, tax frameworks, and the role of bancassurance.
- Day 2: Panels on social protection, financial security, innovation, and insurance inclusion, followed by the closing ceremony and a networking lunch.
