Doing Good in Africa

The Doing Good in Africa initiative, conceived by Afrique RSE and MASODA, aims to address the dual challenge of promoting corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development across Africa. Its programs include an CSR Barometer, a CSR Label, consulting services integrating quality management, digital, and CSR, as well as nation branding, public diplomacy, and territorial marketing consulting.

The initiative seeks to:

• Recognize and benchmark the efforts of companies and states through the annual publication of the CSR Barometer.
• Collect useful data through the digital platform hosting the Barometer to help local governments better assess public support needs and target CSR subsidies.
• Reward deserving companies with the pan-African Doing Good in Africa label, facilitating North-South-South exchanges.
• Define a relevant ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) framework for investors to evaluate “virtuous” African companies.
• Provide companies with digital portals to monitor their processes based on the ESG framework to measure their performance and impact.
