Rabat: Capacity-Building Workshop for the Development of Regional Value Chains in Electric Mobility
The Capacity-Building Workshop for the Development of Regional Value Chains in Electric Mobility will take place in Rabat from January 16 to 19, 2025. This workshop focuses on the potential of value chains and market opportunities in the electric mobility sector, considering the context of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
The event will bring together participants from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Morocco, and Zambia, aiming to enhance local capacities to develop effective value chains in electric mobility. Discussions will cover the opportunities offered by electric mobility to stimulate innovation and economic growth in these three countries.
Workshop sessions will include presentations on best practices for developing value chains, as well as case studies showcasing successes in the e-mobility sector. Participants will also have the chance to share their experiences and explore regional partnerships to promote the development of electric mobility.
Sector experts will provide in-depth analyses of current market trends and future forecasts. The workshop aims to identify key challenges and opportunities for each participating country within the AfCFTA framework, to promote effective regional integration.
Working groups will be organized to develop concrete strategies and recommendations for improving electric mobility value chains. Participants will be trained on tools and techniques to optimize production and distribution processes in the e-mobility sector.
