Paris (France): Guinea Conakry launches its ‘Open Branding Guinée’ Forum event
Promoting Guinea Conakry as an international destination and highlighting Guinean culture as a whole are the aims of the ‘Open Branding Guinée‘ event to be held in Paris on June 23, 2023.
Guinea’s tourism and cultural potential, investment opportunities: these are the aspects that the Open Branding Forum at the Mercure Hotel in Pais 19ème (216 Av. Jean Jaurès, 75019 Paris) will address on Friday June 23, 2023 from 9am to 6pm. The aim is to discover the Republic of Guinea.
Prestigious panelists: The event will feature a number of high-profile speakers. Among them, the Guinean Minister of Culture, the representative of Coordination Branding, the delegation from the Office National du Tourisme, the delegation from the Office National pour la Promotion de l’Artisanat. A list of influential personalities joined by cultural and economic players from Africa and France, and entrepreneurs such as Abdoulaye Barry from Y Money. The event will feature an exhibition space to promote Guinea as a destination. The Office du Tourisme (ONT) and the Office National de la Promotion de l’Artisanat (ONPA) will be on hand to showcase Guinea’s handicrafts.
A unique multi-day event: Throughout the weekend of June 24 and 25, 2023, Guinea will be inviting participants to get to know it better via a number of highlights:
- June 23, 2023 from 3pm to 6pm (after a morning dedicated to the opening ceremony) at the Mercure Hotel in Paris 19ème: a Forum focusing on the theme ‘How can culture be a vector for economic development and tourism in the Republic of Guinea?’ ;
- June 24, 2023 from 7pm to midnight at the Casino de Paris: an exhibition of the wonders of Guinea, followed by a live show featuring renowned artists;
- June 25, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.: a soccer tournament in Paris to promote living together. 16 teams will compete: 12 French, 4 European (Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland).
