Pape Alassane Diouf is the initiator of the Salon Finance Expo. A month from the meeting of finance in Dakar, it takes stock.
See you soon, a month ago, how is the Africa Finance Expo?
Allow me to congratulate myself, in advance, on our partnership with Financial Afrik, and to salute, like many of your readers, the excellent work you are doing. To come back to your question, we must admit that the Africa Finance Expo looks good and augurs great benefits for the participants.
We expect a thousand people if we rely on pre-registration and the excitement that the event arouses with financial players in particular. The International Exhibition of African Finance is a unique platform for exchanges, reflections and partnerships bringing together both the world of finance and public and private decision-makers.
What is the general theme of the Salon?
The chosen theme is Banking, Finance and Insurance: What changes in the digital era?
And the choice is explained by the fact that digital is a real challenge, combining both risks and opportunities for organizations, especially those in the financial sector that sees born new digital players: finetech and assurtech.
Thus, in addition to the B to B meetings, and the exhibition that will provide an opportunity for thousands of visitors to meet new partners and discover innovative financial products and services, the actors will look at the issue through different sessions ( Inaugural conference, panels, workshops).
Is it planned to organize this show in a city other than Dakar and elsewhere in Senegal?
Indeed, because the vocation and scope of the Africa Finance Expo are Pan-African and solicitations that reach us from other countries of the continent, we are comforted in the idea of holding one of the next editions in one of the other major capitals African.
But in the meantime, we give to all, see you, on April 19th, 20th, and 21st, at the King Fahd Palace Hotel, for the 2018 edition.
